How to Order Books
Does UAA Own It?
- Find material in the Consortium Library and other libraries in Southcentral Alaska by searching the
Library Catalog.
If you live in the
Anchorage library service area, click the Place Request link, enter your library card barcode number,
and choose a delivery location.
- If you live outside of Anchorage use our online ordering form.
When UAA Does Not Own It
If the book you want is not in the Joint Library Catalog, you have three options.
Delivery Time
Books available from UAA's collection are mailed within two business days. We can request books from local,
regional, national, or international sources within two business days if what you need is not in our collection.
- RUSH delivery must be indicated when the item is requested. Please include the deadline date. You will be notified if we can not meet your stated deadline.
- SAME DAY pick up service must be stated when the item is requested. You will be notified if we can not meet your stated deadline.
Fees
Healthcare Provider / Consumer
- $8.00 per item found in UAA's collection
- $14.00 per item requested from another library's collection
For-Profit Organizations
- $14.00 per item found in UAA's collection
- $20.00 per item requested from another library's collection
Non-Alaskans
This service is not available to non-Alaskans.
