COLLECTIONS CONTAINING SOUND RECORDINGS

The following list identifies the main holdings of the UAA Archives and Special Collections Department in the areas of sound recordings. The list contains modified collection descriptions developed from a variety of key word searches of the collections descriptions. These key words include: sound, audio, music, musical, oral, oral history, tape, cassette, and disk. The heading for each entry is the same as that found in the Collections List and in the collection description. The text of the description has been modified to provide specific information on the sound, audio, and other similar materials. Detailed lists of the recordings are to be found in the inventories attached to the collection descriptions. Those portions of the inventories which relate to sound materials will be attached to these abbreviated descriptions at some point in the future.
